The Women's Cottage Project
This summer we want to empower a group of women by designing and building together a cordwood and cob cottage. We'll start by creating our design and researching the materials needed. We'll find the perfect place to build this tiny retreat at the Greenwood Sanctuary and then plan the building schedule for the summer and fall.
Have you ever wanted to build a cottage with your own hands but thought that you were limited because you are a woman? Join the project and see just what we can do.
This project is a spiritual, from the heart, inspirational creation teaching us how to work together and create together. The cottage will be a place for women and their families to visit, have a personal retreat, a place to cry in and a place to dream. Challenge yourself! We can do it together!
