Insight Meditation Group Each human being has the potential to experience a permanent state of clarity, openness and connection with the love of the Divine. In this state our consciousness is transformed and we are no longer affected by suffering. Meditation is one way to achieve this transformation and the process of practicing meditation immediately helps the practitioner to cope with day-to-day stress and gain greater insight to his or her inner truths. Learn how to meditate in this beginner level workshop. No prior experience is necessary.

Introduction to Shamanic Healing
This four week course will introduce you to Shamanic healing techniques. Celtic Shamanism Part 1
This workshop teaches the basics of Shamanic technique from a Celtic perspective including the oracle, protection methods and meeting guides. Working with the energies of the Otherworld promotes transformation through contact with deep ancestral images that resonate within us. We will learn how to prepare for the sacred Imramm (Shamanic journey) and begin our quest into the mists to find our true selves. Please bring a drum, rattle and blanket if you have them. Introduction to Shamanism is recommended before taking this workshop. Elements of Wicca Do you have an interest in exploring Wicca? Would you like to go beyond reading and start practicing? This nine week course introduces the basic concepts of Wicca, lets you experience what a practicing Wiccan does, and helps you to decide if you would like to continue on the Wiccan path. Ideal for beginners or those who wish to deepen their basic understanding and solitary practice. All classes are taught by initiated Wiccans. This course will be given in April 2013. Spirit Tarot This four-hour workshop will explore the images of the Tarot in order to deepen Wiccan practice. It is suitable for Wiccans of any level including beginners. Therapeutic Touch (TT) T.T. is derived from the ancient practice of laying-on of hands. It is connected to the concept of universal life energy and field theory, which sees all energy as interconnected and in movement. Magickal Herbology Course
This four week course will be held outside in the garden during the summer. We will be looking at both common and rare plants and their uses in magickal and medicinal practice. Some Shamanic work will be done with the Plant Spirits and Elementals. Come and learn how to integrate the magick of herbs into your life for healing and spellcasting. We will be making medicine pouches, talismans and amulets and creating Flower Essences. Each participant will receive a Flower Essence reading and a Flower Essence. Cost: $125 (a $20 deposit must me made on registration as space is limited. Maximum 10 partipants.) Instructor:Meri. Please bring comfortable clothing, rainwear if needed, pen and paper for notes and a camera to take pictures of plants if you want. This course will be held Saturdays August 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st, 2013. There will be two make-up dates available in September for those that miss a week due to being on summer holidays. |

Love Spells
Love Spells are wonderful complicated weavings that touch us on many levels. We must learn to love ourselves, open ourselves to the Harmony of the Universe, and open ourselves to the possibility of love and abundance. Even for people already in a happy relationship this workshop will show you how to deepen your love with magickal workings using energy, songs, herbs, stones and other methods. All are welcome. The Witches Shield: Protection Magick
Protection magick involves healing ourselves and healing the world as we strengthen our circle casting, create wards, make talismans for our home, strengthen our auras and many other things. We are not focusing on paranoia but rather strengthening our energy and the energy of all that surrounds us to attract the positive and repel the negative. Our collection of Wiccan, Pagan, alternative healing and spirituality books are available to lend to members, 2 books for up to one month at a time. The more members we have, the more books we can buy. Donations of books will be gladly accepted. $50 per year for membership to the library. |

Young Pagan's Circle (free)
A place for younger members ages 10 to 18 to explore Pagan and alternative spirituality. All participants must have parental permission. Young Pagan's meet every first Sunday of the Month and parents or older siblings may participate if they wish. Next meeting is Sunday April 7th 3pm Cost: Free (Donations accepted) |

Magic Star Circle
Through the year, the children (between the ages of 3 and 9) will learn about the Sabbats, the different Celtic Goddesses and Gods and will be introduced to drumming, spiritual songs and folk lore as well. Circle of High Oaks: French Advanced Wicca
For those who prefer to study in French this year long course will challenge you with the rigorous training. Initiation is available at the end of the course for those who are interested. Ninjutsu For those interested in learning the basics of Ninjutsu, an ancient Japanese Martial Art. Clothing and other supplies must be provided by the practitioner. No prior experience is necessary but a certain level of physical fitness is required. Tuesdays 7 to 8:30 Fridays 5:30 to 7pm Saturdays noon to 1:30 Cost: $35 per month French classes available Tuesday and Thursdays for more information please contact us.
