Angélique's Dance Bio:
Angélique discovered belly dance as a young girl sneaking into the Greek restaurant where her mother worked. Some nights on special occasions, she would catch a glimpse of the dancers performing for the patrons, the excitement was contagious...
In her twenties, she was introduced to American Tribal Style and fusion, styles of dance that appealed to her affinity for the darker side of enigmatic sacred femininity. This married her embrace of expressive movement with her love of concocting unique costuming.
Angélique enjoys learning about all cultures through one of their most ancient expressions, dance! She believes we may all move to the beat of our own drum, but the beat is universal as all souls are expressions of cosmic divinity.
